Our History
We are a couple of Egyptologists who met in the university in Cairo, while studying tourism, archeology, and history. Our passion for travel led us to be closest friends, and after 6 years we became Mr. and Mrs. We both soon realized that we have a shared desire to show the rest of the world our unique country through our own eyes.
Since 2003 we have enjoyed working with the biggest icons in the travel industry. We have won awards! But we felt that there is a bigger passion that we want to share with the world. Travel is not just seeing highlights or buying souvenirs. We believe travel is a force to improve communities.
We certainly believe that travel could be a way to conserve the environment and improve the well-being of local people. We believe that we have a role in educating people on the diverse ways of living through meeting locals along the way. We are firm believers that we have a role in giving a helping hand to female-owned businesses.
Vision and Mission
Egypt has been a major contributor in bringing out the best of people’s knowledge, art, community service, and much more. The standing walls of Ancient Egypt’s legendary monuments are the greatest witness to these contributions, and from there...
We are committed to keeping the legend alive! We believe your tour to Egypt is more than just visiting iconic places or famous historical remarks! Our mission is to transcend the travel experience and make it a fierce force in developing communities that we visit.
Here, we are creating purposeful partnerships with local communities in order to give our travelers the experience of a lifetime. With their outstanding skills of storytelling, their passionate knowledge of Egyptology, and their archeological background, our extraordinary travel guides will take you through a journey between the past and the present … a journey in TIME!

Born in Cairo, this unique city, an ancient crossroads with access to the whole world, taught me to love traveling; throughout my childhood I had many opportunities to travel and explore with family and friends. I found that I love camping & integrating with different people. I also grew keen to watch any movie related to adventures or travel.
In 2003, I started my dream job as a tour guide. After a year of experience, I was chosen as the best tour guide in the company I was working for, “a very reputable adventure company in Europe”. I knew something was calling me to travel more, so I travelled a lot to Asia, Europe, Africa and North America to experience traveling & understand more about my travelers, their backgrounds, and the world.
In 2011, I began to study experiential learning. This course changed my life. I found that lecturing doesn’t encourage memory, but experience does. I applied what I learned in all aspects of my life, especially family tours. I believe that giving my travelers the tools not just to experience Egypt, but to learn about Egypt and our history through being and doing, helps them to develop a real relationship with not just our past, but our present.
I love helping our society, so I am a part of an NGO helping to develop rural areas. Through this experience I have had the opportunity to change peoples’ lives. I am not only helping my society in Egypt, but also contributing to other countries. I am a team member of child care Africa & Asia, specializing in Ethiopia. I know that ours is a world community, and this is a value I incorporate into every aspect of my life.

I am a proud Egyptian, born and raised in Cairo, a traveler by nature, Scout leader, football fan, chess and pool lover. I studied Egyptology and Tour Guiding at the University in Cairo. I value working on community projects and have worked for years alongside local and foreign non-profits in order to foster community engagement through travel.
I have been working as a tour guide since 2005. My travel and leading experience is really vast and includes leading groups and individuals, cruises and walking tours, classical sightseeing and tailored trips. I spent a long time as a scout leader, including leading the Saint George scout team in Downtown Cairo, which gave me an amazing experience in group management. I have won some awards but my biggest achievement was in 2016 when I won the Gold Prize at Wanderlust World Guide Awards for “Best tour guide in the world”.
I led tours for Discovery channel between 2009 and 2011 and I led and trained tour guides for the JOURNEYS tours of National Geographic. I also led some tours in Jordan and Oman. Beside leading tours I have worked as the regional manager for tour guides/leaders in the Middle East. I have trained guides from all over the world (e.g. Egypt, Jordan, Canada, Uzbekistan, Burma, Russia, Türkiye, Armenia, Oman, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Morocco, Thailand, Singapore, Iran, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Turkey, Ecuador, Georgia, Chile, Brazil, USA, and others).
I believe travel opens eyes and hearts. It spreads knowledge and love between nations, improving the lives of everyone involved. I introduce my guests not just to Egypt, but to Egyptians. Sharing our stories builds a global community that transcends time and borders.

Egyptologist Tour Guide
I am an Egyptologist tour guide, born and raised in Cairo. I studied at the school of archaeology and history. Since I was a kid, I have travelled around Egypt and explored its beauty. I often found myself dreaming of showing Egypt to the world.
In 2010, I became a professional tour guide. After three years, I started traveling the world. My passion was to explore other cultures and dig deeper into the travel industry.
I have lived in a few countries around the world, mainly in the UK, which enabled me to run tours at the Egyptian hall of the British Museum. Filled with many thoughts and ideas, I decided to come back to Egypt (home) and bring everything I had learned to my travelers. This is my passion. I wake up every day feeling happy and excited to meet new people and show them around. I am a lucky man—my job is to make the best out of people’s holidays and to make them smile from their heart.
I believe traveling can bring the best out of us through connecting with different cultures. Through traveling we develop, change, and appreciate life and everything it offers.
I am always ready to share all my knowledge and passion about Egypt.

Marketing Manager
Born and bred in Cairo, I have loved traveling since childhood. I discovered a talent for marketing and business, so I studied business at Cairo University and began working in the field in 2003 as a senior sales executive and team manager in one of the well-known advertising agencies.
In 2008, I worked as a deputy marketing and advertising manager in a group of Egyptian-European companies for kitchens. Then, I decided to dig deeper by pursuing an MBA in 2013 and earned my Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2015.
While traveling, I realized that Egypt needs more marketing, as it offers so many incredible experiences. People dream of seeing the pyramids but often have only a vague idea about the country. My dream is to help people see Egypt the way we see it, and to connect them to the world’s oldest civilization.
I found that my childhood friend SemSem shared the same values. I was so proud of him when he won his award in 2016 and always wanted to tell the world that Egypt doesn’t only have pyramids—we also have brilliant people who can win hearts.
During COVID, I joined the team with my best friends in “The Egypt Tour Specialists.” I feel that my dream is coming true as we show the Egypt we love to the world.
