Day 1: Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport

Upon arrival at the Cairo International Airport, you will be escorted by your Egypt Tour Specialists’ representative who will assist you with border control, luggage claim, and customs. You will be then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel and assisted with check-in. . .

Day 2 :Day to Giza Pyramids and Saqqara

In the morning after breakfast, your Egyptologist will accompany you to experience the impeccably rich history of Saqqara; the largest and oldest cemetery in the world; consisting of over 85,000 tombs including the latest discoveries in October 2020 of 59 unexplored ancient coffins! Explore the finest tombs of the nobles whose exquisitely rich walls depict the daily life of ancient Egyptians. Enjoy the scent of the past by wandering around the marvelous Step Pyramid of King Djoser; the very first freestanding stone structure in history! Shortly after lunch in a local restaurant, ride your vehicle to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza; the only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world. For almost 4000 years, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has never stopped overwhelming and inspiring travelers from all around the globe! Explore the Valley Temple where the great Pharaoh, Khafre, was mummified four millennia ago and left us the amazing Sphinx witnessing the glory of ancient Egypt. .

Day 3 :Day to Alexandria

Take off early from your hotel accompanied by your Egyptologist to the city of Alexandria; for just a 2.5 hour ride in an air-conditioned vehicle. Start your journey by exploring the largest Roman burial ground in Egypt, The Catacomb. Descending 35 meters into the rocky ground, there you will visit the resting place of 300 individuals whose grieving relatives paid their last respects at a funeral ceremony in a separately adjacent hall. Next you will be visiting the Triumphal Monument built by the mobs to show their gratitude to Diocletian, the Pompey’s Pillar. Walk around the ruins of the Serapium Temple where the ancient Egyptian and Greek cults mingled in harmony in the subterranean galleries. After an authentic lunch in a local restaurant, explore the Fortress of Qaitbay. Built on the foundations of the Pharos Lighthouse (ranked one of the seven wonders of the ancient world), this 15th century Mamluk fort gloriously overlooks the entrance to Alexandria’s eastern harbor. Just north to the Bay, lies the site of the famous underwater excavation where hundreds of pillars, statues, and sphinxes have been unearthed! Top up your historical visit with the magnificent Library of Alexandria. . .

Day 4 :Visit to Egyptian Museum

First in the morning, explore the astounding Egyptian Museum dating back as old as 7,000 years, those long-gone Pharaohs have left behind a trail of mummies, dining bowls, jewelry, funeral equipment, and much more for you to savor of and disc. Later on, get in depth with the Egyptian Coptic heritage and its foundation. By tracing down the Holy Family’s first steps along with some of the oldest churches in the Middle East, you will explore the Hanging Church with its epic design and the crypt of the Holy Family. In addition to Ben Ezra Synagogue with all its treasures. Lastly, explore the beautiful Islamic monuments and the fascinating Khan El-Khalili bazaars; one of the largest bazaars in the Middle East, and where locals shop and make a living through their workshops and little stalls selling all that please your interests, from woodwork and glassware to leather goods and perfumes! Ride to board your evening flight to Aswan. . .

Day 5 :Visit to Aswan and Abu Simbel Temple

(Optional: Abu Simbel Temple) Embark on your ship for an unforgettable cruise on the legendary Nile River. Sail a boat by Sunset to visit the Nubian Village where you will learn about Nubian people and their culture, chat with locals in their house and enjoy some hibiscus tea. . .

Day 6 :Day to Aswan Attractions With a Short Motorboat Ride

Start your day with a short motorboat ride to visit the majestic Temple of Isis at Philae. The goddess of love who -according to ancient legends- traveled all over Egypt gathering her husband Osiris’s remains after he was cut into pieces by his brother Seth, the god of evil. Next, visit the famous High Dam. This engineering miracle was the largest masonry dam in the world. After lunch aboard the ship, spend an afternoon of leisure sailing to Kom Ombo Temple that was dedicated to the crocodile and the falcon Gods. Visit the Crocodile Mummification Museum to see crocodile mummies that are thousands of years old. Continue sailing towards Luxor city. .

Day 7 :Day to Luxor By Sailing With The Boat

Explore the largest religious complex that was ever built for a god in the history of mankind, the Karnak Temples that were built throughout more than a thousand years by several generations of successive pharaohs. Top up your day through the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor, which once was connected to Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes, approximately 3 kilometers in length. Built in 1380 BC by Amenhotep III, the site was added to by other pharaohs later down the history; predominantly Ramses II. . .

Day 8 :Explore Luxor Attractions By Air Hot Balloon

(optional: early morning hot air balloon over the West Bank) Drive across to the west bank and explore the grandeur of architecture which was the hidden burial place for the famous icons of the new kingdom kings. The valley of the kings. Your Egyptologist will cherry-select three tombs to visit according to your preference and personal abilities. In addition, you can opt for a ticket to visit the tomb of the golden boy, King TutAnkhAmun, and a few more. Next, take a short ride to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. With a temple carved into the bedrock that speaks of her authority, this female ruler set a turning point in the history of women in Ancient Egypt. On your way back, stop to visit the Colossi of Memnon where once were King Amenhotep’s figures, hearing the voice of the past whistling out at dawn carrying the legend of Memnon. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo for the remainder of the day at leisure. .

Day 9 :Cairo - Visit to Al-Azhar Park

Start your day with a visit to the breathtaking Al-Azhar Park; an exceptional green sanctuary with panoramic views of the surrounding area. After an authentic Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant nearby, your Egyptologist will take you to the famed citadel of Saladin, one of the most important landmarks in Egypt. It is worth climbing the walls to admire the views of the historic city. At the heart of the citadel lies the beautiful Mosque of Muhammad Ali, with its glorious dome and its stunning interior. Make your way back to the hotel for an overnight stay. .
