Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will meet your Egypt Tour Specialists’ representative who will assist you with border control, luggage claim, and customs. You will be then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel and assisted with check-in. Evening Cruise over the Nile and dinner while enjoying watching Folkloric shows and a belly dancer. Meals included: Dinner

Day 2

Day to Giza Pyramids

In the morning, you will meet your Egyptologist to guide you through the rest of your trip. Today we will be exploring the magnificent Pyramids of Giza; the only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world. For almost 4000 years, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has never stopped overwhelming and inspiring travelers from all around the globe! Explore the Valley Temple where the great Pharaoh, Khafre, was mummified four millennia ago and left us the amazing Sphinx witnessing the glory of ancient Egypt. Afterwards, experience the impeccably rich history of Saqqara, the largest and oldest cemetery in the world; consisting of over 85,000 tombs including the latest discoveries in October 2020 of 59 ancient coffins! Explore the finest tombs of the nobles whose exquisitely rich walls depict the daily life of Ancient Egyptians. Enjoy the scent of the past by wandering around the marvelous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the very first freestanding stone structure in history. After an authentic lunch in a local restaurant, sink deep into the heart of the barren desert in Dahshur; yet to admire two of Egypt’s ever best-preserved early pyramids, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid! These two monuments are considered to be an undisputed evidence of the architectural development preceding the proclaimed great pyramid. Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

Day 3

Day to Egyptian Museum

We will spend the morning in the incredible Egyptian Museum; home to many treasures including the amazing collection of artefacts recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun. In the afternoon, we will take you on a trip through Old Cairo and visit the famous Mohamed Ali Mosque within the heart of the Citadel of Saladin with its stunning views over Cairo. There, you will also find an opportunity to walk through a traditional Bazaar and try out your bartering skills. Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch

Day 4

Day to Old Cairo attractions

Today we will get in depth with the Egyptian Coptic heritage and its foundation. By tracing down the Holy Family’s first steps along with some of the oldest churches in the Middle East, you will explore the Hanging Church with its epic design and the crypt of the Holy Family. In addition to the Coptic museum, then stop by Ben Ezra Synagogue with all its treasures. Top up your day with the Mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas, factually that is, the oldest mosque in Egypt and all of Africa! Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

Day 5

Day to visit the Abdeen Palace and Baron Palace and Going to Airport

Day 5: (Option*) Visit Abdeen Palace and Baron Palace. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then transfer with your tour coordinator to Cairo Airport for your departure flight. Meals included: Breakfast
