Itinerary

Day 1: Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport and transfer to hotel in Cairo

You will meet your Egypt Tour Specialists’ representative who will assist you with border control, luggage claim, and customs. You will then be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel and assisted with check-in.

Day 2: Day to Giza Pyramids and Saqqara

After breakfast, your Egyptologist will pick you up in the morning to experience the impeccably rich history of Saqqara; the largest and oldest cemetery in the world, consisting of over 85,000 tombs including the latest discoveries in 2020 of 59 ancient coffins!

Explore the finest tombs of the nobles, whose exquisitely rich walls depict the daily life of Ancient Egyptians. Enjoy the scent of the past by wandering around the marvelous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the very first freestanding stone structure in history!

Shortly after lunch in a local restaurant, you will be driven to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, which are the only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world. For almost 4000 years, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has never stopped overwhelming and inspiring travelers from all around the globe!

Explore the Valley Temple where the great Pharaoh, Khafre, was mummified four millennia ago and left us the amazing Sphinx witnessing the glory of ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Day to Egyptian Museum

First in the morning, explore the astounding Egyptian Museum dating back as old as 7,000 years, where those long-gone Pharaohs have left behind a trail of mummies, dining bowls, jewellery, funeral equipment, and much more for you to savor and discover.

After lunch in a local authentic restaurant, visit the churches of Coptic Cairo, the place where the holy family took refuge for 3 months, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue where you learn about the Jewish history in Egypt.

Wrap up your day by exploring the Citadel of Saladin dating to the 11th century AD.

Day 4: Day to Aswan

Take an early flight to Aswan, followed by a short motorboat ride to visit the majestic Temple of Isis at Philae, the goddess of love who, according to ancient legends, traveled all over Egypt gathering her husband Osiris’s remains after he was cut into pieces by his brother Seth, God of Evil.

Then discover one of the ancient granite quarries where you can see the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the heaviest monolith ever found in Egypt.

With an estimated weight of 1,160 tons, if finished, would have been the largest piece of Egyptian masonry ever completed!

Next, visit the famous High Dam. This engineering miracle was the largest masonry dam in the world!

Sunset visit to the Nubian Village where you will learn about Nubian people and their culture while chatting with your new local friends. A yummy traditional home-cooked meal will be served to you to end the visit with a beautiful taste of Nubia.

Day 5: Day to Abu Simbel Temple

With the early morning breeze, collect your breakfast box and start your day going further south towards the borders of Egypt on around a 3-hour ride in your air-conditioned vehicle to visit the two breathtaking temples of Abu Simbel.

Learn about history, construction, and relocation of these temples funded by UNESCO just to discover more mind-boggling information of this ancient phenomenon! You will also get to spend the evening wandering through the colorful markets of Aswan.

Day 6: Day to Kom Ombo Temple

After breakfast, hop on to visit Kom Ombo Temple that was dedicated to the crocodile and the falcon Gods. Visit the Crocodile Mummification Museum to see crocodile mummies that are thousands of years old. Then, ride your vehicle towards Luxor.

Explore the largest religious complex that was ever built for a God in the history of mankind, The Karnak Temples, which were built over more than a thousand years by several generations of successive pharaohs.

End your day with the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor, approximately 3 kilometers in length, which was once connected to Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes. Built in 1380 BC by Amenhotep III, the site was added to by other pharaohs later down the history, predominantly Ramses II.

Day 7: Day to West Bank of Luxor

Ride your vehicle across to the west bank and explore the grandeur of architecture which was the hidden burial place for the famous icons of the new kingdom kings, The Valley of the Kings.

Your Egyptologist will cherry-pick three tombs to visit according to your preference and personal abilities. In addition, you can opt for a ticket to visit the tomb of the golden boy, King TutAnkhAmun, and a few more.

Next, take a short ride to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. With a temple carved into the bedrock that speaks of her authority, this female ruler set a turning point in the history of women in Ancient Egypt.

On your way back, stop to visit the Colossi of Memnon where once were King Amenhotep’s figures, just yet to hear the voice of the past whistling out at dawn carrying the legend of Memnon.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Cairo and Visit The Baron Palace

Take an early flight back to Cairo to visit the beautiful Baron Palace, which is one of the most luxurious historical palaces in the world. This palace was built in 1910 by a Belgian businessman, an industrialist, and an amateur Egyptologist by the name of Baron Édouard Empain.

Later on, enjoy an evening on a Nile cruiser where you get to enjoy your dinner while watching some folkloric dance as well as a belly dancer.
